During the three-day Forum, 470 participants, including men and women, signed the appeal letter for the release of Naw Ohn Hla and detained women human rights defenders on the occasion of the International Day of Peace.

Myanmar Democracy and Peace Network activist Naw Ohn Hla, Kachin State activist Daw Bauk Jah, Wimutti Volunteer Group leader (a member of Women Organizations Network of Myanmar) Daw Khin Mi Mi Khine, and Mettila Social Support Team leader (a member of Women Peace Leading Network) were arrested by authorities while working in leading roles for justice for the people who are suffering from exploitation and hardships.
